Club grading and first disability Karate grading 26th November 2016

Congratulations to all who passed the grading last weekend, the overall standard has even further improved, a standard that we should all be proud of. 

20 students passed and received their new belts, the coming weeks at training will address some of the areas highlighted that need more work. 

The grading as usual consisted of kihon, kata and kumite and everyone showed that they had prepared well for the grading.

EKF Referees Course 30th November 2014

Southend & Chelmsford Ishinryu’s assistant instructor and nationally qualified EKF Kata and Kumite judge attended the EKF referee’s course last weekend, her report follows:
