  • Since starting at JKG Karate I have become fitter, more confident and gained lots of new friends. I have also accomplished goals I never thought possible. The karate club is one big family.–David

  • My daughters and I changed club as we had become bored at our old one, and was on the verge of giving up. I did not want this because karate is a sport we are able to do together. Training with Sensei John Gardiner has changed that completely! Lessons are fun, varied, exciting and we are privileged to have the experience of a member of the England Karate team. The quality of lessons are consistently outstanding and I would highly recommend the club to everyone.–Helen

  • I love going to karate classes with Sensei John Gardiner because his teaching is awesome. The classes are fun and enjoyable, and learning Karate and self defence is exciting. Every class is different and I am proud to represent the club in competitions.–Amy (aged 11)

  • John is a highly motivated and focused person with a huge amount of leadership and motivational skills. First of all he has taken the Karate club from humble beginnings to one that now runs classes in many locations. In addition the club can also boast a British champion among its ranks. As a parent to one of his longest attending students I can testify to the hugely positive impact John has had in teaching Kate, she has learnt many essential life skills such as confidence and respect.–Simon (parent)
